Nobody kicked Promzy out – Reggie Rockstone sets record straight on VIP split

Music legend Reggie Rockstone has opened up about his time with the iconic group VVIP, describing it as a “formidable force” built on friendship despite creative differences.
He directly addressed long-standing rumors about the departure of member Promzy, labeling them as falsehoods.
“I never kicked Promzy… it was all jokes and lies and slander,” Rockstone clarified in an interview on Joy Prime with George Quaye monitored by MyNewsGh.
“Promzy knows that. Everybody knows… Bulldog was there. He knows. Ain’t nobody kicked Promzy out the group. He went for a solo career.”
Rockstone recounted light-hearted arguments over things like stage outfits but emphasized that the bond remained.
“We would argue about every damn thing, man,” he said with a laugh.
“But the love never changed. And we learned so much about ourselves and about friendship because I always said to Zeal and Prodigal, we should never lose our friendship, not over some music.”
