NPP confirms voting centres for January 31 flagbearer election

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has released the approved voting centres for its flagbearer election, scheduled for Saturday, January 31, 2026.
The Presidential Elections Committee (PEC), chaired by former First Deputy Speaker Joseph Osei-Owusu, shared the list, covering all 16 regions and communicated to the five presidential aspirants.
The PEC thanked candidates, their representatives, and stakeholders for their cooperation, assuring a credible and transparent process.
Flag bearer hopefuls Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, Kwabena Agyei Agyepong, Dr. Bryan Acheampong, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, and Dr. Yaw Adu Twum have intensified campaigns to win delegate support, with less than a month before the election.
The expanded electoral college, amended in July at the NPP National Delegates Conference, includes former constituency, regional, and national executives, former MPs, and former MMDCEs.
Over 200,000 delegates are expected to vote in person, as the PEC confirmed no proxy voting will be allowed.
