The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has denied claims that it contracted a PR firm based in Ukraine called Brandcom.
A news report by AllAfrica.com suggested that the New Patriotic Party had contracted Brandcom during the 2024 election to operate fake social media accounts.
But a statement issued on August 3, 2025, and signed by the party’s communications directorate denied the allegations.
It explained that the party has always organized its elections with integrity and commitment to democratic norms.
The statement further indicated that the publication is clearly an attempt to tarnish the image of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
The party demanded immediate retraction of the report or they will take legal action.
