NPP needs Kennedy Agyapong as leader after January 31 – Boakye Danquah

Dr. Palgrave Boakye Danquah has declared his support for Kennedy Agyapong in the New Patriotic Party’s presidential race, describing him as the “variable” that can secure victory for the party in the 2028 general elections.
Dr. Boakye Danquah said the party needs a new force to drive it to success, insisting that Kennedy Agyapong embodies that change.
“That is why I am with Kennedy Agyapong. The variable that must be introduced into the NPP as leader of the party after the January 31 election is Kennedy Agyapong. He is that variable that can win an election,” the former Government Spokesperson on Governance and Security stated.
He dismissed the notion that repeatedly presenting the same candidate improves electoral chances, stressing instead the need for a fresh leadership direction.
“The idea that a candidate should be brought back multiple times is not what makes one win. It is about the value and leadership proposition.
“Kennedy Agyapong is a system MP, and a winnable candidate. That is why I believe he can lead us to victory in 2028,” Dr. Boakye Danquah added in an interview on Citi News.
According to him, Kennedy Agyapong’s long-standing parliamentary experience and pragmatic approach to politics position him as the most viable choice to lead the NPP into the next general election.
