NPP to hold National Delegates Conference on July 19 in Accra

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) will hold its National Delegates Conference on July 19, 2025.
The conference is expected to take place at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium in Accra and will be a ground for the party to consider the various amendments to their constitution.
It is expected that various decisions about the party’s internal elections will be taken during the conference.
The decision to hold the conference in Accra was announced today, June 17, 2025, at the NEC meeting held at the Alisa Hotel in Accra.
The NEC meeting was chaired by Vice Chairman, Dankwa Smith Butey due to the absence of the chairman, who is currently indisposed and has asked to excuse himself from party activities.
The party has decided to hold its flagbearership election on January 31, 2026, to afford them enough time to market their candidate as they work to capture power in the 2028 elections.
