NPP would come to power if I lead them

Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum, former Minister of Education and Member of Parliament for Bosomtwe, has unveiled a bold policy proposal tied to his presidential ambitions—vowing to enroll at least 100 students from each constituency annually into engineering programs if elected president.

“Every year, I will ensure that a minimum of 100 students from each constituency are given the opportunity to study engineering. My responsibility will not end at education—I will also work to create jobs for them after graduation,” he said.

This initiative, he explained, would form a cornerstone of a broader plan to tackle unemployment and push industrialization through technical and vocational training.

Dr. Adutwum made this announcement during an interview on Wontumi TV’s morning show, where he officially declared his intention to contest the NPP’s flagbearer position ahead of the 2028 general elections.

“I will surely contest the NPP flagbearer race and lead the party to victory in the 2028 elections,” he confidently stated.
