Nsoatreman FC withdraws from 2024/2025 Ghana Premier League over security concerns

Nsoatreman FC has officially withdrawn from the ongoing 2024/2025 Ghana Premier League, citing serious concerns over the security and safety of their players.

In a formal letter addressed to the Ghana Football Association (GFA), the club stated that recent incidents during their matches against Kumasi Asante Kotoko and Samartex FC had compelled them to take this drastic step.

According to the club’s management, these events raised major safety concerns, and despite notifying the GFA, they feel that the situation has not been adequately addressed.

As a result, they have decided to prioritize the well-being of their players by pulling out of all competitions organized by the GFA.

The statement emphasized that the club can no longer guarantee the safety of its players under the current circumstances and expressed regret over any inconvenience the decision may cause.
