According to a report by Asaase News, outspoken media personality and journalist, Okatakyie Afrifra-Mensah, has reportedly been picked up by the Cyber Crime Unit of the Ghana Police Service, just days after his detention by the National Intelligence Bureau (NIB) on March 19.
The reason for his latest arrest remains unclear, sparking speculation and concern among his followers.
Known for his bold criticisms of the government, Okatakyie’s repeated run-ins with law enforcement have raised questions about the motives behind these actions.
Confirming the development, former Greater Accra Regional Youth Organiser of the NPP, Moses Abor, told Asaase News that the arrest did take place.
