One-week observance for late Highlife legend Dada KD set for June 21

The one-week observation for the late Ghanaian highlife musician Nana Kwaku Duah, popularly known as Dada KD, has been announced.
The commemorative ceremony is scheduled to take place on Saturday, June 21, 2025, at the East Legon Executive Club House in Accra.
The event will begin at 7:00 a.m., as friends, family, colleagues, and fans are invited to gather in honour of the departed musician.
Born in 1971, Dada KD passed away on Friday, May 16, 2025, at the age of 54. According to close sources, the veteran singer had complained of feeling unwell shortly before his untimely death.
Dada KD, celebrated for his soulful voice and romantic melodies, was a pivotal figure in modern highlife music.
