Rapper and songwriter, Tulenkey has said that only selfish and greedy Ghanaians are angry that the Dollar is depreciating in value.
The ‘Bad Feelings’ hitmaker said though some of his earnings are in Dollars, he’s happy that the Ghana Cedis is appreciating recently.
“It’s true that we the musicians our online streams are paid in dollars so my earnings are dropping due to the depreciation of the American Dollar,” he stated as MyNewsGh.com monitored.
“But despite this the Ghana cedis is also appreciating so if I go out to the supermarket I can afford to buy a lot with the little dollars I have.
“If you’re a musician or a Ghanaian and you’re angry that your Dollar has devalued then you’re just being greedy and selfish and not thinking about the country.
“When the Dollar appreciates it only benefits a few people but when the Cedi appreciates it benefits a lot of Ghanaians,” he said on Property FM in Cape Coast.
