ORAL Delays: Gov’t is gathering evidence to pin down corrupt appointees from the previous gov’t

Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Asiedu Nketia has urged calm among members of his political party over corrupt appointees of Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
According to him, the government is meticulous about various issues and gathering enough evidence to pin down those who were wicked to the nation.
He emphasized that if the government rushes to prosecute these individuals, they may have their day in court, and the quest to cleanse the system will not be achieved.
“I’ve heard that our people are saying the ORAL process is slow. Even some of the appointees who are being investigated say they can’t be arrested because after four months nothing has been done.
But I will urge them to trust the process we are engaged in and be rest assured that we will crack the whip and deal with all corrupt appointees in the previous government,” he told Accra-based Accra FM.
