OSP removes Ken Ofori-Atta from wanted list

The Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) has officially removed former Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta from its wanted list after his lawyers confirmed his return to Ghana in May 2025.
Ken Ofori-Atta was declared wanted on February 12, 2025, due to being involved in corruption and corruption-related activities.
His lawyers officially notified the OSP on February 18, assuring full cooperation with the inquiry.
Following this confirmation, the OSP deemed the return date reasonable and rescheduled his interview. However, officials warned that if Ofori-Atta fails to return or attend the interview, he will be declared wanted again.
The OSP reaffirmed its commitment to pursuing all legal measures to ensure his accountability.
