Over 85,000 graduates deployed in first batch of National Service postings

The National Service Authority (NSA) has officially released the first batch of postings for the 2025/26 service year.

In a press statement dated October 28, 2025, the Director-General, Ruth Dela Seddoh, announced that a total of 85,159 personnel from accredited tertiary institutions have been deployed to various user agencies.

“The Authority therefore requests the public to appreciate the technicalities and procedural steps underpinning the National Service posting arrangements,” the statement read.

The NSA clarified that this initial figure excludes personnel with data mismatches, as well as teachers, nurses, and midwives, whose postings will be released in a subsequent batch.

Prospective service personnel are instructed to check their placement on the official NSA website, print their appointment letters, and book an appointment for the mandatory registration at designated regional centers.

“Management wishes to remind all personnel to refrain from engaging the services of scam syndicates for changes in postings and other related issues,” the Authority cautioned.

The regional validation and registration exercise is scheduled to run from Wednesday, October 29, 2025, to Friday, November 21, 2025. The national service year officially commences on Monday, November 3, 2025.
