Parliament is set to resume sittings on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, as announced in an official notice issued by the Speaker of Parliament, Rt. Hon. Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin.
The notice, dated May 12, 2025, from the Speaker’s office at Parliament House in Accra, marks the commencement of the Second Meeting of the First Session of the Ninth Parliament of the Fourth Republic. The session is scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m. at the main chamber of Parliament.
This announcement is in accordance with Order 58 of the Standing Orders of the Parliament of Ghana, which mandates formal notification of upcoming sessions. As Parliament reconvenes, several key legislative activities, debates, and committee reports are expected to be tabled for discussion.
