Poor showing at Ghalca Top 4 a wake-up call

Asante Kotoko’s Assistant Coach, Prince Owusu, has stated that the poor showing at the just-ended Ghalca Top Four is a wake-up call for Kumasi Asante Kotoko.

He is of the view that it has provided the technical team with a fair idea of the lapses that need to be addressed.

To him, it is about time the team fights back to get back on track ahead of their Africa campaign in the coming weeks.

”It’s not just about the tournament itself, but it’s exactly what we are doing to get the boys ready for the African Cup and the league as well,” he said.

Adding that “so this is all part of the stages. Look, it’s a wake-up call for us. Maybe we’re winning all through and you thought that’s all it is, but now I think this is a wake-up call for us to know to fight back and then get back on track to make sure we get on a winning streak again”.
