Reggie Rockstone, who runs Rockstones office has spoken on the fire at the Accra Tourist Information Center.
Although he did not provide details of the cause of the fire, he used the opportunity to thank everyone who had called to sympathize with him.
He was appreciative of the effort by the Ghana Fire Service for their swift intervention in the fire that gutted the Accra Tourist Information Center and his office.
Rockstone was grateful no casualty was recorded as a result of the fire.
He assured patrons of the Rockz Wakye that they will be back soon but was not certain when they will be back.
“There has been fire, pretty devastating fire. The good news is that no human being was harmed. Life is the most precious because we don’t take out material stuff when we check out, so we give praise to Jah for this. As far as the damage, it is pretty heavy; however, we like to take time out to thank the Ghana Fire Service. I know you are going to catch a lot of flak because you are so close to us, but we found out you have been fighting fire all day. However, you are human and got tired, but you did your best to put the fire out,” he said.
