Reports in the local media suggest that Ghanaian midfielder Thomas Partey will join Spanish side Villarreal CF.
According to the reports, a deal is nearing closure even though the Ghanaian footballer is currently facing charges of rape.
Partey is said to have agreed to terms with the Estadio de la Cerámica outfit over an imminent move and will be unveiled by the club in the coming days.
Partey left Arsenal last month after staying with the club for the past five years of being at the North London Club.
Although efforts were being made by Arsenal to keep the midfielder, the deal feell through.
Meanwhile, The former Atletico Madrid star is due to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on August 5.
