The Anala family will hold a memorial mass on Monday, September 29, 2025, at the OLA Catholic Cathedral Parish in Tamale to mark the passing of three siblings who died within five months.
The service is being organised in collaboration with the Society of the Divine Word (SVD) – Ghana Province.
The series of deaths began with Grace Lena Anala, who passed away on March 31, 2025, in Virginia, USA.
She was buried on June 2, 2025, in Virginia, with the service officiated by her brother, Rev. Fr. Anthony Ataamine Anala (SVD).
Fr. Anala later died on June 20, 2025, and was buried on June 24, 2025, in the United States.
The family also lost Wing Commander Peter Baafemi Anala, the youngest of nine children of the late Paul Oscar Anala and Judith Atinage.
He was among eight people who died in a military helicopter crash in the Ashanti Region on August 6, 2025.
The memorial mass will celebrate the lives of Grace, Fr. Anthony, and Wing Commander Peter, with family, friends, and colleagues expected to attend.
The dress code is black and white or traditional attire.
