Sad! Kumasi market woman manhandled like a thief over GHS 1500 ginger debt (VIDEO)

A heated altercation erupted at Adum, Kumasi, earlier this morning when a market woman was confronted by a group of individuals over her alleged failure to settle a GH¢1,500 debt for the purchase of ginger from a local farmer in Ejisu.
According to eyewitnesses, the trader had been avoiding all attempts to reach her for the past three years, despite multiple efforts by the aggrieved farmer to recover the money owed.
The situation escalated into a tense scene as the individuals, believed to be associates of the farmer, accosted her in public and demanded an immediate resolution.
The confrontation attracted a significant crowd who expressed mixed reactions to the incident.
Some sympathized with the farmer by emphasizing the struggles of local producers who often face financial losses due to unpaid debts, while others questioned whether such a public confrontation was the best way to resolve the matter.
