Ghana’s Communications Minister, Sam George, will today, September 29, 2025, address the press on issues regarding to reduction of the prices for subscription to DStv.
Over the past weeks, the Communications Ministry has been working closely with DStv to come up with prices that will not burden the Ghanaian people.
This has been done through the formation of a stakeholder committee to discuss the best way forward.
The committee was formed after DStv refused to reduce its prices after several warnings from the Minister for Communications, Digital Technology and Innovation.
At 3 pm today, the Minister is expected to engage the Nation on the outcome of the work of the stakeholder committee, which he chaired.
It is not what the resolutions of this address will be; however, DStv subscribers in Ghana are hopeful of a reduction in prices for subscribers.
