Seeing you feels like a dream — Piesie Esther tells Serwaa Amihere

Gospel musician Piesie Esther reunited with broadcaster Serwaa Amihere on GHOne TV after being apart for several months.

The interview opened with Piesie congratulating Serwaa on her recent achievement of being called to the bar.

Serwaa, visibly excited to have her “all-time favourite gospel artist” back in the studio, joked about feeling slightly upset that Piesie had missed her big day despite the prayers they had shared about it.

“I haven’t seen her in months,” Serwaa said.

“And I’m not happy with her because she missed my call to the bar. We prayed about this call, and she wasn’t here to witness it. I’ve forgiven her on camera, but behind the scenes, I haven’t,” she teased.

Piesie Esther, smiling warmly, responded with gratitude and humility, thanking Serwaa for the kind words and expressing how happy she was to be back.

The singer revealed that her absence was due to a busy international schedule, having ministered in several countries including the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom over the past three months.

“In the last three months, I’ve been to about three countries, London, Canada, and the U.S., where I ministered in different cities,” Piesie shared.

The conversation ended on a touching note as the two women expressed how much they had missed each other.

“Seeing you sitting here feels like a dream. I’ve missed you,” Serwaa said emotionally, to which Piesie replied, “I miss you too.”
