Selfish NPP focused on elections rather than apologizing to Ghanaians for messing them up—Dr. Omane Boamah to NPP
Defence Minister, Dr Omane Boamah, has fired some salvos at the New Patriotic Party (NPP), describing them as selfish individuals.
He holds the view that the political party should be focusing on apologizing profusely to the people of Ghana after the mess they created while in office.
However, the biggest opposition political party is focused on the next election and how to win political power to cause more pain to the people of Ghana.
Dr Omane Boamah used the opportunity to make it clear to Ghanaians the difference between the National Democratic Congress he belongs to and the New Patriotic Party which is only bent on winning political power.

The New Patriotic Party at its NEC meeting announced that the party will hold its flagbearership election on January 31, 2026.
Prior to that, the political party will hold its National Delegates Conference on July 19, 2025, where constitutional amendments will be taken into consideration.
