Sergeant Ernest Addo-Mensah spent only a week with his wife after their wedding—Mother speaks

Mother of the late Sergeant Ernest Addo-Mensah who died in the helicopter crash on August 6, 2025 has opened up about her son.
According to her, the son stayed only one week with his wife after their wedding and left for work only to hear the news of his death.
She disclosed while speaking in an interview that when her son was leaving after his honeymoon with his wife, she wept the whole time.
The wife could not tell why she was weeping, but she was extremely sad on the day he left her for work, only for the family to receive news of his death.
“My son only spent one week with his wife after their wedding ceremony, and he left for work. When he was leaving, his wife, who is a teacher, kept weeping. We could not tell why she was weeping. We only thought that because it is a new marriage, she will miss her husband, which is the reason why she was weeping. He did not see her until we were told that he had died on August 6, 2025,” Sergeant Ernest Addo-Mensah’s mother disclosed.
She further disclosed that her son has been working for the past fourteen years with no challenges.
To her, her son knew God and is hopeful that he will be in the bossom of the almighty.
