Youth Advocate Ralph Saint Williams has described the nurse who insisted that she was manhandled by him and his colleagues who stormed the Ridge Hospital as an actress.
According to him, neither he nor any of the people who stormed the Greater Accra Regional Hospital attacked any of the staff of the facility.
He indicated that the CCTV footage released by Ridge Hospital supports his claim and only exposes Ridge Hospital for not accepting responsibility; they are failing at their duty of serving the nation.
In a Facebook Livestream on Thursday, August 21, 2025, he said, “They don’t know what is coming. Best female actress of the year. Someone whose shoulder has been dislocated looks at her. She claims no one but Ralph hit her. They are still trying to protect whatever they are saying and not take responsibility. If this is the footage to defend your claim that this lady was beaten, then you’ve left much to be desired.”
“Ghanaians can lie; Ghanaians just lie. It is fine. The lady who claims to have been assaulted wasn’t pregnant. I decided to take a video of all nurses who were on duty on the said day, and so when I got to her, she told me not to post her.
Meanwhile, the Ridge Hospital has donated a new phone and an amount of Ghc 800 to the nurse who has been assaulted.
There is pressure from the Ghana Registered Nurses and Midwives Association for the arrest of Ralph, whose actions they believe threaten nurses and other health workers in the country.
