Class sessions for first-year senior high students in the 2024–2025 academic year are set to begin on Friday, September 27, according to an official announcement from the Ghana Education Service (GES).
It is recommended that parents and school authorities take the required steps to ensure their children are prepared for the upcoming academic term.
GES also verified that the students will finish their first semester and start vacation on December 6 in a press release issued on Tuesday, July 16.
The announcement made it clear that there will be no modifications to the timetable for any of the other scheduled events and programs for the semester.
According to the GES management, “the Ghana Education Service (GES) wishes to inform all heads of Senior High/Senior High Technical Schools that the re-opening date for 1st year students of the 2024/2025 academic year”.
