Star Oil Ltd has expressed deep sorrow following a tragic road accident involving one of its bulk vehicles near Asukawkaw in the Oti Region on Thursday, August 14, 2025.
The accident claimed the lives of four people and left fourteen others injured.
In a statement, the company said, “We have received with profound sadness the news of this tragic incident.
Our deepest condolences go to the families and loved ones of those who lost their lives. Our thoughts are also with the injured, and we wish them a swift and full recovery.”
Star Oil confirmed it is working closely with emergency services and local authorities to provide support to the affected families.
The company added, “We have initiated our internal investigative processes and will collaborate fully with the police to determine the cause of the accident.”
