Stop the blind loyalty let the law deal with people who steal from us

Prophet Kofi Oduro has condemned what he describes as blind loyalty in Ghanaian politics.

According to him, it is about time party supporters leave the state agencies to do their work when it involves people who have caused financial loss to the state.

His comment comes on the back of supporters of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) amassing at the office of the Economic and Organized Crime Office last week after Chairman Wontumi’s arrest.

He noted that several people in government held positions of interest and distinguished themselves.

Therefore, if there is a bad nut, he/she must be made to face the law and not hide behind politics.

“Osei Yaw Adutwum, have you heard anything about him? He built schools, the STEM schools, but have you heard that he squandered money? But some were engaged in fraud and money laundering. But some of them used money to buy properties for women in East Legon. Then, when they are caught they call on people to fight for them. No, the truth will liberate you,” he said.
