Students excited as Mahama visits his former UG-Legon hostel room

Students were ecstatic when former Ghanaian President, John Dramani Mahama returned to his old accommodation in Commonwealth Hall at the University of Ghana.

Mahama visited the constituency as part of a working tour accompanied by John Dumelo, the NDC’s parliamentary candidate for the Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency in the 2024 elections, and other party executives.

Mahama used his visit to go back to his room, A32, where he had lived while doing his undergraduate studies in history.

Students at Commonwealth Hall, also known as Vandal City, were chanting campaign songs in favor of the former president, creating an electrifying environment.

In social media videos, Mahama looked happy interacting with the students and getting into a lively jama session with them.
