Support good policies, not parties – Apaw Gyasi backs Bawumia

Former Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for New Juaben South, Ike Apaw Gyasi, has called on Ghanaians to set aside political divisions and support policies that serve the national interest, regardless of which political party introduces them.
Speaking on Channel One TV on Monday, June 23, ahead of a crucial engagement between former Metropolitan, Municipal, and District Chief Executives (MMDCES) and former Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, Gyasi emphasized the importance of unity and patience as the country navigates its economic and political challenges.
“I will plead with Ghanaians to be patient, because for me, if the economy is good, it is good for everybody, and we ought not to be too partisan.
“We need to look at the bigger picture. Ghana is bigger than everybody. If a policy is good for a country, irrespective of whoever has put that policy in place, we need to support that. Ghana first, as far as I am concerned,” he urged.
He expressed unwavering confidence in the leadership capabilities of Dr. Bawumia, describing him as a well-prepared and mature leader with the vision to elevate both the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the nation at large.
