Supports Two Physically Challenged Widows in Ashanti Region

In a heartwarming show of compassion, the former New Patriotic Party (NPP) Chairman for the Afigya Kwabere South Constituency, Odeneho Kwaku Appiah, popularly known as COKA, has extended his philanthropic efforts to support two physically challenged widows in the Ashanti Region.
The gesture follows reports aired on radio about the dire living conditions of the two women, prompting COKA to act swiftly to alleviate their burdens.
Accompanied by a team of supporters, COKA travelled from Kumasi to Denchemuoso in the Kwadaso Municipality, where he donated 30 bags of charcoal and an undisclosed sum of money to Akua Teiko, a widow who resides in a makeshift wooden structure.
According to COKA, he was moved by the story and decided to visit her personally.
“We heard about your situation and decided to come here today to surprise you and support your charcoal business with 20 bags of charcoal and some amount of money,” COKA said during the presentation.
The visibly emotional widow, overwhelmed with gratitude, thanked COKA and his team for the timely intervention.
“I thank you so much for the support. In fact, this will go a long way to help me and my children,” Akua Teiko said.
From Denchemuoso, the former Chairman proceeded to Nkawie Panin in the Atwima Nwabiagya South District, where he made another touching donation to Akosua Serwaa, another physically challenged widow.
She received a brand-new wheelchair and an amount of cash to assist with her daily needs.
The presentation was met with tears of joy as Serwaa expressed profound gratitude to COKA for the life-changing gesture.
Also present at the Nkawie Panin donation was the Assembly Member for Nkawie Panin and Nkroan Electoral Area, Samuel Kwabena Opoku, who lauded the benevolence of COKA.
“I’m at a loss for words as to how COKA heard about Madam Akosua Serwaa’s condition. This wheelchair will truly transform her life. We say a big thank you to Chairman Odeneho Kwaku Appiah for this immense act of kindness. May God continue to bless him and his team for their charitable efforts,” the Assembly Member remarked.
