Suspect Azumah Sampson arrested for stabbing a fire officer

The Ghana National Fire Service has identified the suspect who stabbed one of their personnel while fighting fire in Ajiriganor.

The suspect, Azumah Sampson, has since been handed over to the East Legon Police to ensure that he faces the law.

Announcing this, Legon Fire Station officer King Solomon indicated that a frantic effort was put into searching for the suspect.

It will be recalled that two (2) firefighters sustained injuries (one from a stab wound to the left arm and another from a falling block that struck his left shoulder) while fighting fire at Ajiriganoh Ability.

Both were treated and discharged from Unity Clinic in Madina.
