The prime suspect in the murder of Armed Suale, Daniel Koranteng, has been charged with abetment and murder after the prosecution filed new charges against the accused person.
At the Madina District Court on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, police prosecution led by Chief Inspector Nana Afua Bamfo told the court they wanted to amend the initial charges and withdrew them to be substituted with new charges.
The prosecution in court said Daniiel Koranteng led two alleged culprits who are currently at large to the home of Ahmed Suale where he was murdered.
The prosecution providing details of the case in court indicated that Suale confirmed that Daniel Koranteng leaked his photos to be published on Net 2 Television.
Although the lawyers for Daniel Koranteng pleaded with the court for their client to be granted bail since he’s been in custody since March 12, he was denied.
Presiding judge Susan Nyarkotey remanded Daniel Owusu Koranteng and is he expected to reappear before the court on April 17.
