Two suspects in the death of AKA and Tibz, Malusi Ndimande and Siyabonga Ndimande, have been extradited to South Africa.
The two, Malusi Ndimande and Siyabonga Ndimande, will face the Durban Magistrates Court on Tuesday, 11 November.
The South African Police Service, in a social media post, announced their extradition.
The post read “Malusi Dave and Siyabonga Gezane Ndimande have been extradited back to South Africa where they will face at least four counts of murder, two counts of conspiracy to commit murder and attempted murder. Two of the murders are those of rapper Kiernan “AKA” Forbes and his friend Tebello “Tibz” Motsoane.
The two suspects, aged 29 and 30 years old, arrived at the King Shaka Airport in Durban from Eswatini on Tuesday morning and will appear in the Durban Magistrate’s Court on the same day”.
AKA, the popular South African rapper, was shot and killed on February 10, 2023, in Durban, alongside his friend Tebello “Tibz” Motsoane.
They were ambushed by gunmen outside a restaurant, and the incident is being investigated as a possible organized hit.
