Foreign Affairs Minister Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has disclosed that after several tests, Doctors have scheduled Suzy Pinamang’s surgery for next month.
Suzzy Pinamang lost her sight after a gun that a colleague in the Adventist Senior High School brought to school mistakenly went off in class.
After a series of tests in Ghana, businessman Ibrahim Mahama stepped in to fund her surgery outside Ghana.
In a post shared via social media, Foreign Affairs Minister, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa who secured travel arrangements for the young lady disclosed that her surgery has been scheduled for next month.
He made this known after meeting the young lady who is currently in the United Kingdom.
His post read “After representing President Mahama at the Oxford Africa Conference this morning, I made time to visit the amazing Suzy Adwoa Pinamang in London.
Suzy’s doctors have conducted numerous tests following her gunshot injuries, and have scheduled her surgery for next month.
I am glad our courageous Suzy is in high spirit and doing very well.
I commend staff of the Ghana High Commission in London for their extraordinary care.
We continue to convey heartfelt appreciation to the incredibly kindhearted Ibrahim Mahama.
