Suzzy Pinamang returns to Ghana after successful surgery, thanks Ibrahim Mahama for his benevolence

After several weeks in the United Kingdom, where Suzzy Pinamang had her eye surgery, the Adventist Senior High School student is back in Ghana.
She arrived in Ghana on the night of July 3, 2025, beaming with excitement and gratitude to her sponsor, Ibrahim Mahama, and her family.
Speaking to the press after her arrival, Suzzy Pinamang used the opportunity to thank Ibrahim Mahama for his benevolence and for ensuring that she sees again after her predicament.
For her, the businessman has changed her life for the better, and she will be forever indebted to him for this kind gesture.
But for him, she indicated that her life had come to an end because she wouldn’t have been able to see again.
“All I will say to him is that I am grateful for his benevolence. But for his benevolence, I would’ve been blind, so I am grateful to him. He has ensured that I am added to the living and for that I am grateful to him and his family,” she said upon arriving in Ghana.
Background
Suzzy Pinamang, a student of the Adventist Senior High School in Kumasi, lost her sight after a colleague’s gun, which he was brandishing in class, went off.
Suzzy Pinamang could not see, but businessman Ibrahim Mahama stepped in to fly her out of Ghana for surgery to correct the situation.
