The IGP confirmed that the gang behind the robberies had been dismantled, with ten suspects arrested and three others shot dead during shootouts with police. “We have launched a manhunt for the remaining suspects who are on the run. We will not stop until we get them arrested,” he stressed.
He added that the police recovered 14 weapons, including AK-47 rifles, pump-action guns, a single-barrel gun, pistols, ammunition, vehicles, and mobile phones. “The Director General CID will give you the full details of the operation, the suspects, SUVs, among others,” he said.
