The Government Should Give Us 40 Million Dollars A Year To Invest In Our Movies- Miracle Films

CEO of Miracle Films, Mr. Samuel Akwasi Nyamekye believes one way to put Ghana on the globe is via movies.

Speaking at a meeting with the Ashanti Regional Minister, Dr. Frank Amoakohene, the movie director suggested ways to revive the Kumawood movie industry.

Among the numerous suggestions Miracle Films made, one that has begun to go viral is where he suggested that the government should invest in the industry.

According to Miracle Films, it is not a bad idea for the Government to give the industry players, as far as the movie is concerned a whooping amount of 40 million or 10 million dollars every year to invest in their craft.

Miracle Films claims with such an amount, the government can give them directives on the kind of movies they should produce so that in the end, Ghana would be put well on the globe.

He mentioned that, even though there are a lot of challenges Nigerians and Americans are facing, they always try to project the good ones through their movies.
