The Incompetent IGP still can’t provide evidence to back claims that I insulted him—Abronye

The New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) Bono Regional Chairman, Kwame Baffoe, known popularly as Abronye, has condemned the Inspector General of Police, Tetteh Yohunu, over his arrest and subsequent incarceration.
According to him, if former President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo had arrested people who insulted him publicly, he would have even arrested John Dramani Mahama.
He explained that although he was remanded, the IGP and his team have been unable to provide any form of proper evidence to support their claims.
“To date the police can’t provide a single piece of evidence to back their claims that I insulted the IGP,” he said.
The Bono Regional Chairman disclosed that his remand was premeditated, as the judge wrote his ruling before the court sitting.
“If President Akufo-Addo had arrested people who insulted him, he would have arrested John Mahama. The IGP, who is incompetent and does not know what he’s doing, says I have insulted him,” he stated.
He continued, “Meanwhile, the video they are using as evidence is made up of three videos, which have different clothes in them. So when they plan the bad things from the police, they execute it with the judiciary. If you are not lucky and you meet the Animal Farm judge, then you have a big problem. The first day I was sent to court, my ruling was already ready. The judge pulled a paper out of his diary and started reading my ruling just after my lawyer finished his argument”.
Adding that “instead of writing the ruling after my lawyer’s arguments, the Judge took the ruling from his diary and started reading. I told my Lawyer that the judge had already written the ruling, so I want to know who met the judge and got him to write his ruling before the sitting of the court.”
He was happy that the action of the judge was condemned by leading lawyers in the country.
