The political persecution should motivate NPP to work together for victory in 2028

Communications Director for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Richard Ahiagbah, has reminded the political party of the need to come together to work towards victory in the 2028 elections.
He believes that the current political persecution by the John Dramani Mahama-led government must serve as motivation enough for all to come on board and work towards victory.
He explains that the NPP is being treated undemocratically today, but if the party works together, they will be able to form a government tomorrow that fosters a better political environment to protect and promote the rights and liberties of Ghanaians.
Ahiagbah made this position known in a post shared via social media.
He said, “Our democracy is in a state of flux. The government’s harassment of citizens will not substitute for the delivery of job opportunities for the youth, win the fight against galamsey, or propel the implementation of the promised 24-hour economy to stimulate growth. The NDC government must take seriously the task of improving conditions for Ghanaians and quite unleashing state security on political opponents. We are a democracy, and we, the people, can not be silenced.
Adding that “The New Patriotic Party is being treated undemocratically today, but we must endeavor and work together to form a government tomorrow that fosters a better political environment to protect and promote the rights and liberties of Ghanaians.. Our job is cut out….. Kukrudu…”.
