The proportion of Akans who support NPP declined marginally by 1% in June—Mussa Dankwa

Pollster, Mussa Dankwa has disclosed in his latest polls that the proportion of Akans who support NPP declined marginally by 1% as of June 2025.
He explains that the data shows that the proportion of Akans who support NDC has gone up significantly from 25% in November 2024 to 33% in June 2025.
From the latest polls, NDC gains among the Akan ethnic groups came from Floating voters., +5%, NPP, +1% and Not Disclosed, +2%).
Making this known in a post shared via social media, he said, “Changes in Party Affiliations according polling data for November 2024 and June 2025 among the major ethnic groups.

On other tribes, the data said “Among the Mole-Dagbani group, NPP lost 7% over the period while NDC gained 12%. Overall, 29% of Mole-Dagbani voters support NPP while 53% support NDC and floating voters, 11% Rrow percentage)”.
Also, “For the Ewe group, NPP declined by 2% and NDC increased its share by 4%. Floating voters declined by 1% and Not Disclosed also declined by 1%. Overall, 55% of Ewes say they support NDC while 12% support NPP and 22% are floating voters”.
To add to “Comprable data for Ga-Adangme ethnic group shows that NPP made marginal gain, 1% in June 2025 compered to November 2024, now representing 20%. NDC made gains of 9% in June 2025 compared to November 2024, now attracts 61% of the ethnic group’s support. Floating voters declined by 6% and Not Disclosed by nearly 6%”.
