The referee’s poor decisions marred a beautiful game—CEO of Golden Kicks

The chief executive officer for Golden Kicks, Joseph Epton, has described the FA final against Kotoko as a very competitive game.
He says his team gave Kumasi Asante Kotoko a good run for their money on the night.
However, his disappointment emanates from the decision by the referee to give Kotoko the penalty, which won them the game.
“I was not happy with the penalty and the calls that he was making. My boys gave an excellent performance, in my opinion. We could have killed the game in the first half,” he said.
On the argument that if they had won the FA cup they will not be able to represent Ghana in Africa, he said if that was the case, then the FA should not allow small clubs play in the FA cup.
He is of the view that since that is not the requirement for playing in the FA, there is a need for fairness.
