There’s more to marriage than sex

Nigerian rapper Blaqbonez has shared his views on love and marriage, suggesting that sexual exclusivity should not be the foundation of a committed relationship.
The rapper admitted that he doesn’t believe in monogamy, emphasizing that mutual dedication and effort matter more than sexual fidelity.
“There’s more to this than sex,” he said on the In My Opinion podcast monitored by MyNewsGh.
“You’re getting your back blown out, but you are dedicated to me. You give me your time. You give me your effort. You give me everything that I need.”
Blaqbonez explained that he wouldn’t be bothered if his future wife was intimate with someone else, as long as their emotional connection remained intact.
“If you sneak in two minutes to f*** some n****, I don’t give a f***,” he said bluntly. “It’ll be difficult for a random person to just come and match up to what I put in there.”
He also acknowledged the realities of modern marriage, pointing out that sexual activity often declines over time.
“Most married couples, as you start, you don’t keep having the same amount of sex that you were having,” he said. “If somebody’s satisfying her sexually while I’m hustling, I’m traveling, I’m not available… bro, I understand.”
