Today’s youth value results over party loyalty – Kweku Adjei laments

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) Vice Chairman for the Manhyia North Constituency, Ernest Kweku Adjei, has skammed the National Democratic Congress (NDC) over what he calls politically motivated development projects in the Akwatia constituency.

Speaking on Wontumi TV’s morning show, the lecturer at Kumasi Technical University stressed that Ghana’s youth now demand more than partisan promises.

“Today’s youth prioritize immediate benefits over party loyalty. This is why we need long-term, sustainable development rather than politically motivated gestures,” Adjei remarked.

He further questioned the effectiveness of some NDC leaders, arguing that their track record in government casts doubt on their ability to deliver lasting solutions.

“These individuals, despite their qualifications, are now struggling to find opportunities under Mahama’s leadership.

Their performance while in office is now being questioned, raising doubts about whether their credentials alone are enough to secure future roles,” he said.
