Tokornoo is helping to make the process towards removing a CJ more honest—Kofi Bentil

Vice President of Policy Think Tank, IMANI Africa, Kofi Bentil, has explained that the actions by the suspended Chief Justice are to help make the process in the removal of the Chief Justice honest.
Justie Torkornoo over the week insisted that the process for her removal is fraught with ills, which should not be encouraged.
She explained that clearly, every right-thinking Ghanaian will know that the process is more political than legal.
To her, she is not giving up the fight, as she intends to go the long haul to ensure that the right things are done and Article 146 of the constitution is not abused to satisfy the whims and caprices of a select few.
In a Facebook post backing the suspended Chief Justice, Kofi Bentil explained that no serious person will not conclude that the process for her removal is political.
To him, although some analysts have kicked against the move to address the public and to let issues about the removal process be known, he believes it was the best decision.
He explained that all the suspended Chief Justice is doing is to make it an honest process for fixing real problems.
“No serious person doubts that the CJ removal is political. This will continue if not stopped! best outcome for Ghana is to expose how bastardized it has become, take the politicians out and make it an honest process for fixing real problems. Tokornoo is helping do that,” he said.
