Trade Minister engages Morocco on job-creating ventures

Ghana and the Kingdom of Morocco are exploring new frontiers in trade, agribusiness, and industrial investment following high-level talks held in Accra on Tuesday, July 16, 2025.
The Minister for Trade, Agribusiness and Industry, Hon. Elizabeth Ofosu-Adjare, announced via her official Facebook page that she had hosted a Moroccan delegation led by H.E. Abderrahim Cherrab to deepen bilateral cooperation between the two nations.
“Today, 16th July, 2025. I welcomed a delegation from the Kingdom of Morocco led by H.E. Abderrahim Cherrab to discuss trade and agribusiness partnerships,” she shared.
According to the Minister, the discussions focused on key sectors such as fertilizer production, agro-processing, and broader industrial investment opportunities.
“We explored exciting opportunities in fertilizer production, agro-processing, and industrial investment. Ghana is poised for strategic collaborations that foster job creation and drive shared economic growth,” she added.
