Treat recruitment announcements and offer letters with contempt—NPA warns

The National Petroleum Authority has urged the public to treat any recruitment announcement with contempt.

A statement from the Authority indicated that no appointment letter has been issued to any prospective employee, nor have they put out a notice for employment.

It urged the public to be wary of dealing with people who promise them employment at the authority, urging them not to pay any money for employment with the agency.

Meanwhile, the Authority says it is working with security agencies to investigate, identify, and prosecute persons involved in these fraudulent activities.
