UG School of Nursing graduates first set of PhD students

The School of Nursing of the University of Ghana has graduated their first set of PhD students in the programme.
Announcing this feat in a post shared via social media, the school said it is perhaps the first school of nursing to graduate students with a PhD in Nursing in West Africa.
Five people are the pioneers of the University of Ghana School of Nursing’s PhD program.
The post announcing the feat read, “The first PhD Nursing program in Ghana and perhaps West Africa at the School of Nursing and Midwifery, University of Ghana has graduated the first set of PhD students in Nursing.

Dr. Merri Iddrisu was the valedictorian for her graduating cohort. She made the nursing and midwifery fraternity very proud.
