Victoria Roshchyna was a Ukrainian journalist who lost her life after Russian forces detained her.
Victoria Roshchyna who was known for her courageous reporting, often from the front lines of the conflict in her country, was in August 2023 while reporting from Enerhodar, a Russian-occupied city in Ukraine’s southeastern Zaporizhzhia region.Â
In September 2024, Victoria Roshchyna the Russian government agreed to include her in a prisoner exchange but on September 19th,2024, the same Russian government said she died in custody.
What Happened to Victoria Roshchyna?
Victoria Roshchyna died in Russian custody and so far the case of her death is not known.
The body of the 27-year-old was returned to Ukraine but they claim some orgaare ns missing.
