A Volta River Aviation helicopter was forced to make an emergency landing on Monday morning near the Nkawkaw bypass in the Kwahu West Municipality of the Eastern Region.
The aircraft, a Jet A-1 with registration number 9G-AFW, was flying from Accra to Kumasi when deteriorating weather conditions created poor visibility, compelling the pilot to bring it down safely.
According to a report by Citi News, both the pilot and crew members escaped unharmed, a source confirmed.
