Wa Amass final-year student in critical condition after campus stabbing

A final-year student of Wa T.I Ahmadiyya Senior High School (Wa Amass) is battling for his life after being stabbed on campus Tuesday night during a violent confrontation with a fellow student.
The victim, identified as Iddrisu Ibrahim—popularly known as Lincoln—was allegedly attacked by his friend and classmate, Hafis, after an argument escalated over a video Lincoln had recorded without Hafis’ consent.
When Lincoln refused to delete it, Hafis reportedly threatened to stab him. Eyewitnesses say Lincoln brushed off the threat, daring him to go ahead.
The situation turned deadly when Hafis allegedly pulled a knife and stabbed Lincoln in the ribs and stomach. Despite his injuries, Lincoln managed to stagger toward the school library before collapsing.
One student recalled, “The knife was still in him when he came out. Some students pulled it out before rushing him to the hospital.”
Lincoln is currently receiving treatment at the Wa Regional Hospital. His condition is reported to be critical but stable.
Police responded swiftly to prevent retaliation after the news spread across campus. Hafis was arrested and taken into custody.
School authorities have not yet commented, but security on campus has been heightened as investigations continue.
